 Erice Notary Services offers notary services from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Our notaries can only notarize documents, if said documents will be used in the United States.

 ID

 Any person who needs to sign any document must be present and must provide a valid identification (unless they have Registered the Firm with Notay Public Center); like passport or driver's license. Altered or damaged identifications will not be accepted as proof of identity. The name on the document must be the same as the name on the identification presented.

 People who sign for a corporation, must present a personal identification and the bylaws of the company where the position of the person within it is shown.

 All the people who sign the document must understand the legal effect that these will have. Our notaries cannot notarize documents if they are not fully convinced that the signers understand them; nor can it explain or translate the content to the signatories.

 Powers

 To sign a document on behalf of another person using a Power of Attorney, the document must include this information. The Power of Attorney must be duly notarized.

 Declarations can only be signed by the people who are making the declaration, that is, they cannot be signed by a proxy.

 Clients must Provide their Own Witnesses.

 If any document requires witnesses, it is the client's responsibility to bring them. These must be present at the time of signing. Witnesses must be at least 18 years of age and cannot be the family of the main signer.

 Our Notaries cannot serve as witnesses to any notarized document at Erice Notary Services.

 Witnesses also need to present current identification.

 Altered or damaged identifications will not be accepted as proof of identity.

 No Legal Assistance

 Erice Notary Services does not provide legal assistance or prepare or recommend formats for the preparation of legal documents.

 These must be prepared by a competent person; taking into account the legal requirements of the jurisdiction in the United States where they will be used.

 Each State of the United States has different formats and requirements for the completion of legal documents.

 The documents can be written in English or Spanish depending on the requirements of the jurisdiction where they will be used. All documents must be completely filled out, they cannot be signed in advance and all annexes must be presented at the time of signing.

 Erice Notary Services does not need a copy of the documents.

 Wills

 Erice Notary Services is authorized to notarize wills, however no employee of Erice Notary Services can serve as a witness in these types of documents. If you need witnesses, it is your responsibility to bring them.

 If the will will be effective within North American territory, we recommend that you consult an attorney with knowledge of United States law whether your document will be valid within the jurisdiction where it will be used.

 Investment

 The cost of the notary service depends on the number of notary signatures and stamps that are required.

 Payment is made directly at Erice Notary Services at the time of delivering the documents, in cash; or credit card. You will receive a receipt for your payment after the service is performed.
